Details of what to pack are on the Ski Notley website: www.skinotley.co.uk under ‘Kit List’.

Please remember that the first meal provided will be evening meal at the hotel on Saturday 11 February 2017. You will need to provide enough food for your child to cover dinner on the Friday evening and breakfast and lunch on the Saturday. Students will be able to buy food on the ferry and we will make a breakfast stop en route on the Saturday. Money for this needs to be given directly to your child and not included in their pocket money envelope.

All Notley students will be expected to be in school on the Friday of departure. As there will not be enough time to travel home after school on departure day, students can store their luggage for the trip in the Sports Hall from the start of the day. Staff will be at the Sports Hall entrance Friday morning to help with the storage of luggage before students go to Period 1. Students will be permitted to attend school on Friday 10 February 2017 in the clothing they will be travelling in.

No students are to get on the coach until a member of staff is present and all documentation has been handed in to the appropriate staff.

Passports and EHIC cards can now be handed into the Finance Office at school (or to Mr Child for Ramsey students). They must be handed in prior to departure to ensure we don’t forget any.

Any medication needs to be handed to Miss Brough or Mr Child before getting on the coach, clearly labelled with the student’s name and when it should be taken. Please ensure travel sickness medication is given, if necessary, before the start of the journey and provide more for the rest and return journey.

All pocket money needs to be placed in a sealed, named envelope with the amount of Euros written on the outside. Please ensure when changing Euros you ask for low denominations. 10 Euro notes are best (no change please). Pocket money needs to be given to Mr Rowe before getting on the coach.

Do not forget to pack a swimming costume and towels as we will be going swimming on the Monday evening. Also remember a fancy dress costume for our fancy dress day - your son/daughter will need to be able to ski in it.

Other things to remember for your son’s/daughter’s hand luggage are ski gloves and socks (ready for ski fit), DVDs to watch on the journey and a pillow.
